THE GROUND BENEATH

The Ground Beneath highlights hidden histories or possible outcomes. The prints from the base coating of snowboards are transcripts of topographies and fleeting moments, records of geological dimensions and immediate experiences. Exposing this information is like taking something off, a divestment. It is compensated by applying coatings of pigment, salt or earth—a new ground.
